I guess I'll be spraying my Cometics when they get put on in March. The first set without spray wouldn't seal so GM Performance were used and they failed after about 4000 miles or so. 2800 + relatively hard driving miles. LOL, you've seen my vids ....

I have always spray copper sealant on my steel gaskets (Cometics) and have not had a leak yet....

Back when I had my DSM, some of those guys swore by that stuff when running over 17psi boost. Helped in the prevention of pushing oil into the coolant @ boost. I used it on my DSM when I replaced the head gasket, and it worked great at 17psi on pump fuel. BTW, I was using a MLS gasket on my DSM when I used that copper spray......
Don't know of anyone that has used it on an LSx though.....

Not too sure but from what I was told is that it is good to use on a mls gasket and anything more than 11 to 1 compression. I used it on mine and it is holding pretty well (knock on wood)
