Believe me, they've been sanded and buffed. I went all the way up to 2000 grit when I had the lenses off today. I think I need to try a higher quality polish. Either that or the lighting was bad for the pic.

Yes, that's a lot of tire. However, I justify it with the fact that I can still spin 'em.

The pieces you see behind the grille are actually an intake I built. I'm thinking about patenting it and possibly building and selling some...who knows.

No LS1 is planned. If I get more money to throw at the car, I'll build up a L67 GTP block and turbocharge it. More power than a stock LS1 and cooler.

Looks real good. You should probably paint everything behind teh billet grille black, it might look better. It'll hide the custom CAI.

I've got a couple ideas on how to do that area. It's not done yet.

I'm uploading some pics of the intake now...right now it's pretty roughly made, but I have some 3-D solidworks models of how I could convert the setup into a nice 2-piece kit with a SLP style box extending into a plastic molded snorkel pair...I'm just afraid to try making a whole bunch if there wasn't a market for it.
