Default My LS1 Xcab S10....many pics!

Well what started out as a beat up 1994 X-cab S10 with a blown up 4cyl and 5speed, has now been turned around. I will list the mods to is so far.

8.5 disc brake rear with Detroit TruTrac limited slip
ZQ8 Suspension
Poly Mounts EVERYWHERE (Now I hate them the squeaky bastards)
98+ front end conversion
******* X2000 fiberglass tonneau cover with the speedsturr wing
Shaved tailgate
Molded rollpan
Hidden Reciever Hitch
Xtreme Ground Effects (Still need the S10 Xtreme license plate filler, so if you
wanna sell one let me know )
Leather Bucket seats from a Blazer
Blazer Floor Shift Center Console
98+ Door Panels
Power Windows
Power Locks
Window Roll up and Down module
1999 LS1 w/4L60E
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Custom Fuel lines
True 2.5" Dual Swept Side Exhaust
Dynomax mufflers
Cruise Control

Did the wiring to the truck myself, all factory accesories work like original. Even the 2speed LS1 fan setup. i also added LED fan indicator and a manual fan switch. Also I have an Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Gauge.

OK so enough with the BS...now for the pics...

Now I still need to put the headlights and such back in....and then I have Eagle 025 20's to put on it, And then comes the task of hooking up A/C and all that. But its come a longggg way. I am so ready to drive it. Hope you all like it

Wow man... I had my doubts as I was looking down. But as soon as I saw color on it, I came right around. Thats going to be a great looking truck! That color looks like a graphite metallic of some sort. Like that dark color chrysler uses. Looks great though. That thing is going to be fun when you are done!!!

Yeah I am all up for getting together when its done. As for the color...yes it is Dupont Chromatic Charcoal Grey...with pearl mixed in...so its REAL shiny and sparkly. The A/C wasnt notched...i am going to run a high mount A/C from S&P, i think BlackX (think thats his name here) did it that way too. it looks good and doesnt require any more notching. i cant wait until its all back together and I get the rims in. Hopefully this weekend I will get a video of it. At least running in the driveway or something. Thanks for the compliments.

Well it started as a truck pan....notched the back of the xmember.....but now i am wanting to put a LS2 pan into it...so now i have to notch the top and while i am at it i will reinforce the crap out of the xmember cause i will have hacked out quite a bit of it...but i think no worries here....as long as i plan for reinforcement itll be alright.

i am running 98-99 stock manifolds with the collectors cut off and a pipe welded in place to extend them down some....the radiator is just a 99+ 4.3l radiator and it has a 12" and a 10" fan setup...i am more than happy to help, and I am not far from tampa...i am actually in bradenton...so really ifyou need anything..just let me know i can do my best to help....ill post the video of the truck now also...see if you like it running.

and this is a hot topic...so here is how i did the upper rad hose also.

Hey man one more question I love the paint but are you striping the tailgate to match the hood and roof?

Yes the stripes will be brought down...the tailgate that was on it in the pics...was pretty much just a temp thing. It had so much bondo on it cause it fell off the truck before it got painted, that it just got painted until my new one came it....but the new one will have the stripes just like the hood and the roof. So now worries...it wont be left out.
