370 ci LS2 FI
i would like to biuld a engine with a stock ctroke but a 4.00 bore. the reason i want to is because i will be using the L92/L76 package and throwing a turbo to it. does the 370 equal the 4.00 bore and a stock crank. also, can i do this with a LS1 or do i need a LS2 iron block. finally, will this be a good package to start with with a 76mm garret turbo intercooled at 18 psi max and 7-10 psi street use.

you must mean LS2 alum. block cause ive never seen an LS2 iron block, you can do it with either an LS2 block or a 6.0 iron block, i personally wouldnt go higher than a 370 with a 76mm, good luck on your build

Stock crank and 4" bore is 364 CU IN, you would need a 4.030 bore and stock stroke to achieve 370 CU IN. As for blocks either a LS1 Iron (LQ9) or a LS2 Aluminum have the 4" Bore.

i know the difference between the LS2 and the LQ9/LQ4 so sorry for the edit error. so to get a 370 i have to sacrifice one bore sesion on a brand new motor or just stay 364. can i get this with my stock LS1 and just resleeve it.
