Hptuners w/o EIO, cant use egr or ac
I have a 2002 car with an lc1 and hptuners.
My car didnt come with egr so I cant use that. I also want to keep my a/c so I dont think i can use the a/c pressure sender.
Can i use the a/c sensor and still keep the a/c? Is there any way I can use the AIR harness and if so, what wire do i tap into? Any other options?

You could always use one of the rear O2 sensors for the
input, just have to tolerate a lesser signal and perhaps
more noise / error contribution. But taking the WB output
and ground, and putting them to the rear NBO2 on a
scale of (say) 0=11:1 - 1V=16:1 would give you tolerable
accuracy I expect (1 AFR unit per 200mV).
I rigged a used 'vette rear to 1/8" headphone plug for this
before I upgraded to the original EIO when that came along.
The dead sensor was free and the headphone wire would
be a couple bucks ad Radio Shack. With the length of the
'vette piece plus the headphone cable I was able to just
plug-n-play, under the passenger's door right to the rear
O2 position. With cats maybe not the best but mine were
gutted long before.
Some widebands don't do so well at putting out true 0.0V
so try and make that end of it, a place (AFR-wise) that
you are generally expecting not to hit, so don't care about
throwing away that region of the data voltage span.

Do you remember which wire off of the rear o2 sensor you used? I think that will work great for me but I can't figure out which wire to tap into.
For the front narrowband input, it says use use b on the connector for input. Can i use "B" on the rear as well? And if i do this, do i have to ground "A" or not?

The fuel pressure link in my sig has info on how to add the wiring to your PCM so you can log your WB (or any 0-5vdc) via EGR. Not sure where it's at in HPT, but you will aslo need to enable your EGR so you can scan the voltage coming in.
