polishing Camaro head light lens??

Default polishing Camaro head light lens??
What would be the best thing to use to polish the head light lens on my 2000 Z28..they are starting to look a little coudy..it need to be something mild ... I do not want to scratch them ..I am trying to make them look new again.

I did my wifes BMW (now my daily Driver) with 1500 wet then moved to using the 1500 with a dab of polishing toothpaste...yeah..i said toothpaste..Im old school!
