what is my compression?another dur dur dur question..... well i tried filling one of those compression calculators out and it didnt work...so here are my specs.... im thinking 8:4:1 is what its close to school me guys~
24.20cc dish.... 6 thousands in the hole
6.0 motor
GM 6.0 mls gaskits
72cc 6.0 heads
anything else you need to know let me know thanks
also i have the lunati pro mod rods what whp to the tires are you guys doing with those befor they give way...?

People don't give those pro mod i-beams enough credit. Lunati makes good ****, and those things are SUPER strong, including the rod bolts. Those are the same ones I'm using in my new motor going in my 67. Relatively light weight, and a good design.

Seriously, 8.0 is fine. You'll just be able to run more boost on less octane. I wish my motor was 8.0:1 vs the 8.7:1 I have now. 1.0 pts of compression is worth about 3% of power. So compared to a 10.0:1 you will be down about 6% give or take a little. Try living in Vegas, during the summer I lose at least 10% HP compared to winter, 6000+ DA vs 2800 DA in winter.
