Im putting a ls1 6 speed in my 99 s10 soon...patriot heads cam ls6 intake....How in the hell do you tune the ls1's? Another ls1 conversion s10 I know of only did 320 the the rear..darts, cam ,and some other stuff,,,must be WAY off tune???Oh it is an auto with a 3600 converter...

Thanks.Ill read over that tonight.One thing if you know,On a ls1 swap into a s10,Is there a reason to use only the 5.3 truck tune?I know a couple and they all seem to use the truck tune v/ls1 5.7 tune????what is the reason for this and wont that just kill the true hp ?Thanks

I would make a tune to match teh engine, im not sure why they would use a truck tune when they never offered a 5.7 LS1 in any trucks that im aware of.

Do you do tunes? Does the computer have to be whatever the year the motor and tranny is?This stuff is really getting confusing to me now

Does anyone know if I can use like a ls6 computer with the new ls2's?The reason being to eleiminate the DBW crap.Or can it just be deleted out of the ls2 computer?
