With prices starting at $2,500, 92.3 pounds with the shorter deck, 102.1 pounds with the taller deck! All warhawk blocks with the warhawk LS7 heads Capable of withstanding the upwords of 2000 hp w/o the head lifting!

i thought it was 6k for the aluminum warhawk and the GM iron LSX was 2500

hmm dont think its 6k as thats what a c5r cost and the warhawk was soposed to be " cheaper" .. but if the warhawk's down to 2.5k looks like ill be getting a 454 sooner then i thought.

I thought so too, I'm abit confused by gordon's post "warhawk... in production in about a month" Is he speaking of the current warhawk or gm's new block. Judging by the posted weight of the block I'm guessing he's speaking of warhawk's alluminum block. But then that wouldn't be news unless he's refering to the price.

sorry, i should have said "on the market" "full production" and it does start at $2,500 for the basic block w/o machining, and goes up around to $4,500-5,000 for the bigger bore, and Prepped Block. The LSX block is $2,300 and you can have 511ci in that small block and can with stand more than 2,500hp, but on the down side its iron, and weighs about 220 pounds...
