Photos of my conversion
This is the first time I have posted on LS1 TECH.I installed a 2002 ls1 with a4l60 trans. out of 2002 ws6 Trans Am in my 73 Corvette roadster. I finished the conversion im late April ,06 and have put over 4,000 miles on it last year. This forum has helped me very much and now maybe I can return the favor. I would like to plug a forum sponsor ,Speartech.John was very helpful and the quality of harness is great. What I liked the best is it started right up and ran perfect.

The pond is at a local cemetery near my house. The A/C bracket is from Performance Automotive,Sand City,Ca.The phone #831-394-4403 and it cost $445.I didn't have the time or equipment to make one ,so I bought it.I think it's a better bracket than Street and Performance bracket. The car runs alot better than the L48 with tuneport and 700r transmission.I get 25 mpg highway,19 city and will break the tires loose in 2nd gear.I love driving my Corvette now.As far as mainenance, there is almost none.I can change plugs in about 25 minutes. Thanks for the compliments,Charlie.

Wow! That turned out great! You'll have to bring it by sometime when you're just out cruising Indiana.

What did you use for manifolds? C5 or did you get custom headers?

I didn't move anything,it bolts to the waterpump and tapped holes in the head. The tensioner is from a C5 and you can buy it from them or from chevy dealer. The bracket is set up for Sanden 508 compressor.I used cast Z06 manifolds and a guy who does hot rod exhaust hooked them up to my side exhaust.
