Default How much hp are stock ls6 heads worth over stock ls1?

Ive been looking at the flow # differences, but what would that translate into HP wise?? Especially if I was to replace the stock 98 heads with them?? Anyone have any proven hp gains with the head swap?? Any info is appreciated.

I would guess they'd be worth about 10-15 HP over LS1 castings, especially '98's like our cars have.

I went 11,91 with stock 241 and with stock 243(LS6) I went 11.77 and gained 17RWHP with 2002 LS6 Cam.

10-25rwhp tuned of course depending on the size of your cam.

I would say closer to 10-15 HP with equal tunes. And dont forget that a lot of HP is coming from the higher compression and double quench pads, not just the higher flowing ports.

I swapped LS6 (243 casting) for my LS1 at the same time I swapped intakes too. I was unsatisfied with the increases. I regret not having P&P the heads.
