Will viper tranny work? I am in the middle of doing a LS1 swap. My buddy has a Viper T-56 from a SRT-10 truck. He is willing to give it to me for cheap. What is need to run that T-56 with a LS1. I assuming LS1 bellhousing but will I need a different input shaft. Thanks

A true conversion is a big swap:
extension casting
shifter
top shift rail
cluster gear( rams have a one-piece part won't work in an Fcar model)
5th & 6th drive & driven gears ( 3 parts - rams are different)
2nd speed gear( rams are different)
front adapter housing
bell
input gear

shifter
