Default Question about raising my SCR

I bought a set of Patriot Stage 3 LS6 style heads and I know they're going to need a mill job to raise my compression ratio since they're 1cc larger than my stock chambers. What I am wondering is, how much should I mill and what head gasket should I use to bump my compression up a bit over stock? How far can you mill LSX heads before you start running into port/bolt alignment issues?

i would be more concerned with ptv with those valves rather than intake sealing.

.006 off the heads = 1cc. Most people go with the .040 Cometic gaskets

After around .050 you start having intake lineup issues.

I'm doing a Patrick G. style torque cam, 220/224@.050 w/ LSK lobes. I don't think I'll run into any issues with PTV clearance, but I'm still planning on checking. I only purchased these heads because they were $200 and I'm trying to build on a budget. Anything is better than the stock crap '98 heads.
