Hey guys I have a 98 Z28 Camaro with long tube Jet Hot headers with an off road y-pipe. The car has been lowered 1 1/2 inches. I was driving the other night and did not see a speed bump and hit my y-pipe on it fairly hard. I've hit many times before but not this hard. While looking over my car the other day I noticed that the flang of my passeger side header was cracked. It cracked just above every bolt on the flang. Its still firmly attached and its not leaking at all. I have the metal gaskets on it. Will this cause any problems if I leave it as is? Everyone knows how expensive and what a pain in the ass longtubes are for the ls1. If it does develop a leak down the road will it cause any problems in my engine immediatly? Thanks for your input.

Should be fine until someone could weld it for you.

id say as long as its not leaking you should be ok. id weld it up like meat said whenever you can though just for safety measures
