Have a budget of 11k what can I get?
Considering stroker or even FI and I have a budget of 11k, what type of FI system could I get? I do still have the stock shortblock. Would like to make at least 700 flywheel horsepower. If this isn't enough how much cash would I need.

Call one of the sponsors - Thunder should be close to you. See what they can come up with. You don't even list the type of car you have. M6, A4, any mods? If you are starting with everything stock, than you are in for big shock on the cost of a build - engine, tranny, rear-end, suspension. There is more than a couple of superchargers that may fit your need. Build the bottom end, get a good cam, stage II/III heads, build your tranny, supercharger, and pray that your rear-end does go until you have enough to replace it. Don't forget, LCA, SFC, Tq Arm.
$11K seems like a lot, but it is only a start. It seems to never end.

are you all forgetting that he has the stock shortblock? if you plan on running any kind of reliable power in the longrun, you need to buy a forged shortblock first. then you can use your remaining funds to buy your method of FI. My motor alone was a little over 11k... however i was looking for 900rwhp. 700 at the flywheel is around 575rwhp on a dynojet, a stock shortblock willl handle this but not for long. it all depends on how reliable you want your car to be.

Too give you a idea my car once complete should be good for 750-900rwhp and run low 9's
Built all forged long block with Stage 2 6.0 heads custom turbo cam. had 5k miles $2800.00 INSANE DEAL!!!!
Victor jr intake with rails $389.00
Aarons Elbow $219.00
60LB injectors $375.00
Nasty Performance stage III fuel sys $1249.00
Tex Dual clutch $1249.00
OFI single turbo kit $4300
T76 Q trim $850.00 on 500 miles
Dynojet wide band $375.00
Eboost2 $375.00
Gauge pod and other gauges $300.00
Once these items break becuase there the only stock parts on my car left
New T56 trans build to hold the power. $2500.00
New rear setup once I blow it. $3500.00

Almost $20k. And to factor in something else I do all my own work as far as installs. Have a shop do it and your looking at $$$$$$$$$$$$ Inless you pockets are deep or you have a super credit line you can not do it. I just assume pay it all cash. But this will give you a idea before jumping off into it

I don't see why not. The stroker kit is what, around 3k? You'll want to have the heads modded. The FI kit is what, around 4k? You'll need supporting gauges for around 300-400, depending what you choose. A tune is around 400-500. So you are at around 8k for parts. Note, these are just ballpark figures, your mileage may vary.
Labor charges will be significant, but you should be able to make it.
Then you need to allocate a couple grand to replace the things that break immediately. But that will come after.
