Bad news boys...
My future LS1 plans are dead ...College is coming first right now, and I am going to need to work full time this summer to lessen my loans...so I guess I'll stick with my Tahoe and just turn it into my little sinister beast...I will remain faithful to this site, as I appreciate any help I can get...Thanks

yea, I am really disappointed, but with the career I am going into, hopefully I'll eventually be able to make enough money to buy whatever the hell I desire...

my realistic dream right now is to do a twin turbo 408 firehawk...but if I can't do that, then I am looking for Ram SRT-10s, C6, or maybe a future camaro...
I originally just wanted to get a cheap trans am right now and slowly build it into a nice h/c beast with a small shot...

That was my plan, my plan was to sell it and buy a Trans Am, but I don't feel like having my insurance go up...I know if I got the Trans Am the mod bug would bite, whereas there is not much I can do to the truck...plus in the long run, it will be better while its snowing up here...my truck has 166k, and it hasn't failed me yet...I am gonna ride that bitch into the ground...
The Trans Am just wouldn't get the respect it deserves...If it works out well, I might get one this summer...if not, I'll just hold out for a nice one in the future...Long Live the LS1...

Odd question for this forum...
But, since I am keeping my Tahoe, what do you guys think I should do with it looks wise? Lift it slightly with 33 inch off-road tires...or drop it a little and slap some 20s on that sucker???

You've got to lift a 4x4 dropping it would be stupid IMHO. If you had a 2WD I'd say drop it, but 4x4's have gotta be lifted with big meaty tires. Don't spend to much money on so you can still save for an LS1
