You think you know what this noise is?
Been having a strange vibration, the car sounds fine at idle but makes a deep vibration, almost like a knock under load. It still makes the same vibration when not in gear and revving it. The vibration gets louder/faster with rpms. Oil pressure is fine, idle is good, no SES lights. I've had one guy say main bearing/rod bearing issues and that it's not bad enough yet to really be able to tell....WTF? And another friend has said "don't worry about it." Unfortunately I don't have the luxury not to worry about it. Anyone have any ideas?

I can still hear it with the clutch in, clutch is 400 miles old, but it made the sound before and after. All mods less than 2 weeks old in list. I'm afraid it is a rod bearing, I'm going to cut the oil filter tomorrow and unplug a coil at a time to get a closer diagnosis.

Vibration is still there under load, it got better with plugs and wires, but still noticeable...is it possible that a coil is not dead, but "failing?" As in, not giving enough spark? I'm still hoping its not an internal issue....drives okay, oil pressure okay, just has a vibration and slight thumping noise.
