Default Cam/Spring Combination

Are 2001-2004 LS6 springs

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=12499224

adequate for the Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114 LSA cam?

Can this combo last for potentially 100,000 miles, like the stock springs/cam would be?

I'll be replacing the stock 2001 cam, originally designed for truck duty with specs 196/207 .479/.467 116 LSA.

Although this Comp cam is mild, it still seems to me I'll get a pretty good performance increase over the ultra-mild stock truck cam.

They will work great for that mild lift cam. The 02-04 Z06 has close to .550 lift so it will be no issue.
