TCI 3500-4000 guys...how do you like em?!!?
Just picked up a tci 3600 stall with a advertised stall of 3500-4000. Im just wondering, how do you like the converter and what size do you have???

I agree that once it locks up all is good. But for me (an old man) it is a bit loose but not too bad for a daily driver. I just do not like a loose converter for the street. At the track it rules!

TCI 3500 here. I really love this thing. It's been in the car for about a year now. No problems yet. The STR is 2.5, which makes it haul like a raped gorilla from the line. When my new engine is finished, I'll probably step up to a 4000 or 4400 stall with a built tranny from Performabuilt.

No lock up. Chatter real bad. Did some checking and found out that they have about a 15% return on the converters for our car. I hope it hadn't hurt my trans. It increased my acceleration, but driving around is a nightmare. I will replace it with something else or put back stock.
