Well since I had my header fire me and my mech ripped the whole pass side of the car apart including dipsticks out i put something to block the wholes but they blew out and it rained (hood was closed blah blah) yes car sat outside for 7-8 days like this.. oil isnt a big deal we are doing oil change before it goes back on the road but what about tranny fluid I know it absorbs water IT HASNT BEEN STARTED..

You will want to get any water out asap , Some clutch friction materials are adhered with water soiluble resins

no but the transmission didnt actualy get wet im talking about moisture it would be minimal.. you know what about the fluid throughout the tranny could it have absorbed some to (although over 8 days im sure its all went the bottom).

we where gonna drain the tranny tomorrow and take a look and see if it should go back in
