^^^hmm....did you hear me argue about breathing capibility? how much it cost? do i give a ****?.....this kid needs some help, he had a question about cleaning HIS filter not should he buy another....i stated how he should clean it to avoid having issues, now since he already has the 50$ filter, and now he knows how to clean it properly, why should he get a paper filter?

a stock paper filter is nowhere near the cost of your oiled filter....depending on your driving, you can usually pull them and bang them out, however they do need to be replaced usually when your oil needs to be done,....thats when i did mine, just because it got dirty....the filter you have if cleaned right can last for quite a long time

I replace my paper every other oil change.
Thats $14 every other oil change.
So I can go 4 oil changes with 2 paper filters before I spend the equivalent of one k&n.
You will get better filtration with the paper. Save your motor.
I reccomend Fram. However. Stay away from Fram oil filters. Use amsoil, mobil1, or K&N oil filter. The oil filter they seem to do right.
DON'T TRY TO RECHARGE THE OIL FILTER!
I try to tell everyone I can about the overpriced and underfiltering K&N filters.
Hey you can sell it on here.

I have a holley filter but I use the k&n oil because it comes in a spray can. I clean the filter in a 5 gallon bucket of simple green/water works 10 times better than the k&n cleaner. When I oil my filter I usally wait like 24 hours for the oil to dry before installing it in my car. Never had any problems with oil on the sensors
hope this helps

lol I was just wondering, i bought my car with the K+N panel filter already in it! so ive never priced out a stocker. I clean my K+N every season before using the car, hardly any oil on it, no worries so far
