Looking for a clutch setup
Its time to upgrade the clutch in my car. I haven't been up to speed on clutch options for awhile, so I need some advice.
First, the car is a 99 FRC corvette with ~90k mile on it and what I assume is the stock clutch. I'm not having problems with it, but I'll be doing some drag racing with it. I figure that I'll upgrade the clutch and rearend and then run some slicks. Eventually I'll probably put a cam in it, but for now I just need to be able to get the power that I have to the ground. It will be about 5% drag racing, 95% street.
So what is the hot clutch this week? I'm not making a ton of power, but do plan on the drag racing.
What are people's experience with other clutches.
Thanks
