Looks Good. Just a heads up. Did you know where your fuel pressure regulator is mounted it's not NHRA legal. Needs to be 6" in front of the firewall.

Glad to see another oil pan fit w/ out notching.

Looks good!

I got some Q's for ya. First off, how hard was it to install and tune the carbed set up? Is that the edelbrock manifold or gmmp? and did you use the ls1/ls6 tunner or the msd/edlebrock kit?

Also, what did you run for a tranny?

And i noticed the front of that engine is bare (meaning accessories). What all did you run w/ your accessories? and whad up use?

Sorry for all these questions, im just currious b.c im setting my 3rd gen swap similar to your set up!

thanks!

No problem, edlebrock, victor jr, stock 750 carb, msd 6010 programable controller, didnt even have a chip when i started it, 350 turbo trands, edge 3600 converter, All i have is alt, i have a manual steering box, i think my belt was 55 inches, super easy hook up really, once i got the mounts made and put where i wanted them, I bought the msd box off ebay for like $200 and victor jr from summit it was a lot cheaper than buying the complete set up. its still cheper if you buy it seperate.

When you bought the box off ebay, did it come with the wiring harness also? was it tough putting it together?

Then with the tranny, what was all needed to mate it with the ls1? any spacers? special flexplate?

Yes it came with the harness, no everything just hooks right up, I have the box mounted inside the car.

I bought a converter that works with the ls1 has a screw on pilot from edge $460, I opened up the holes on the flywheel to bolt up converter, no big deal

It doesnt look like it,i layed a board across and the top of the carb is right to the board, you could cut the air horn down or use a HP series carb but you wouldnt be able to get a air cleaner on, u could probably get away with a 2 inch cowl but a 4 inch looks good on bu`s,
