Default Transmission Problem HELP!!!

Guys i think i have a problem....

Sometimes when i stop and try to put it in 1st it doesnt let me... i have to put it in 2nd roll a couple of inches and then it will go in 1st no problem. I changed the fluid but no luck. Also very rarley it grinds when i put it into 4th...Any ideas? I want to fix it as soon as possible to stop any more damage.

Its a '00 Stock WS.6 71,XXX miles

Check on hydraulic system. It just could be your clutch does not completely disengage due to low fluid level or some other hydraulic related reason. If it does disengage completely and cleanly, then you may need new syncros and sliders.
