3rd to 2nd grinding?
3rd to 2nd grinding? I'm having grinding issues with my trans, only from 3rd to 2nd no other gears it upshifts fine from 1st to 2nd. Anyone have this problem before? The trans was just rebuilt in July WTF 
Could be clutch related. We have one in here right now we did last may and you can clearly see where the clutch was not releasing. It was having the exact same problem. Would not down shift. Now the slider is worn and not covered under warranty due to a clutch problem. Try bleeding the system and making sure your disengagement point is correct on the clutch. Also you should have replaced the hydraulics if not. Blocker rings are designed to wear so depending on mileage and what you are doing it is possible several things lead to it wearing down prematurely.
