waste of money unless you're making some ungodly amount of power from a big stroker....

stock setup is plenty powerful

and even the MSD wires are overpriced. nothing a $45 set of taylor spiro-pros won't get you

The ignition controller is for cars without a factory coil control, like if you were putting a carb'd LS1 into an old car. The blaster coils are too damn expensive, and stocks work perfect.

The MSD wires are nice, but the nicest ones I've used so far are the LS2 wires. They are a bit longer, which means you can "aim" the boot off the coil to keep the wire away from the header. They also have a 90* boot on the end with a little handle, they are easy to take off/put on.

Like said above, BIG waste of money. Stock system is on cars well into the 10's.

I had the coils on my car. 4 of them failed. Major problems. I put the stock ones back on.

ya i think the coil set is what like 500 bones, that's getting a bit heavy on the wallet for an ignition upgrade. From what I have read on here, they haven't been too popular with the enthusiast crowd. It always seems like people have tons of problems with MSD ignition boxes, coils and accell injectors!

We build mod classic cars and use the stock setup when we use an MSD 6LS box. The coilpacks and wires are a waste of money. On 750hp plus they don't even make a difference. About the only thing to upgrade is the actual box itself, everything else we leave stock. We use the truck coil packs due to the size being smaller.
