Default is there a quiet 4.30 gear?

for a 9"
anyone suggest a brand?
i know theyve been considered noisy even set up properly.
i bought a used one and it whines so bad it rattles the windows in the car.
it was set up correctly. the marking paint matched the wear on the gear.
i was told it only had 100 miles and never whined, but anything can happen when swapping a gear.

Really !?!!

4.30's noisy even if set up properly ?? That is a new one on me.

Used are used. Period... and you can never expect a used set to be quiet even if set up correctly. There are way too many variables in that equation. Man, that's 20/80 at the very best.

I myself would recommend USGear (aka Strange) for any and all builds. I have had the best of luck with them in all makes... GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, DANA, Borg Warner etc, etc...

i know its used..... i took my chance to save a buck, but even new,any 4.10+ gear makes noise. nobody can say they are totally quiet. like a richmond gear..... the cut of steel is gonna make it whine, regardless.

I just put in motive 4.11 last weekend. only 90 miles on them so far and pretty much babied. They whine a little bit at speeds above 35mph.

I can... I've done several hundred, specifically USGear 9" 4.10's, that are completely quiet.

i have run 4.88 down and never had noise issues, but maybe i have been lucky every single time, but i doubt it.
