Default LSX into LT1

I'm sure this has been touched on but i searched and could not find a definative "checklist" to accomplish this.

car is 4th gen LT1, looking to drop an LS2 w/L92 heads.

What all is needed? specifically

Speartech Wiring harness
Computer
K-member
Fuel system
Tranny (Dont think the LT1 tranny bolts up to LSX)
LS1 steering rack

anything else? would really like to do this

lt1 t56's input shafts are too short and there bellhousings are different...u can swap these but it would be cheaper to just locate a good used t56 for an lsx IMO...

Forgot to mention I have the steering rack for ya $90 + shipping. I did this swap a few years back and I had Speartech do my harness. It was Flawless. Excellent work.

Hey here is a few pics of my old LS1 motor I converted in my 94' Z28. Also there is a pic of the inside of my custom gauge set-up that I did.

Thanks..Wasn't to hard to install, just your basics, changing the cradle, steering rack, Changing fuel pump, put a fuel regulator on it. Got my harness done by Speartech (Plug-n-Play). I had to change pedals and fab up a Croosmember. Cause I went from a A4 to M6.

Not really any trouble spots. We tried to get all of our ducks in a row before we started this swap..

I am doing the same swap and was wondering what you did with the a/c lines. Will the original lt1 a/c lines work with the ls1 compressor? Thanks!

I put a cam and LS6 heads on. To me it was worth it. Night and day diff. of power. For the A/C lines. I used the LT1 radiator and condenser. On the radiator I had to block off the lower plug on the driver side. Only line I remember changing is the one to the compressor.

what line did you use for the compressor? what year car did it come off of? I have the ls1 compressor line but it does not work with the rest of the original lt1 a/c system.
