I drilled a hole in my tunnel to get a socket on the bleeder screw from inside the car, and then plugged the hole with a rubber stopper when I was done. For the final bleeding, I use a vacuum pump on the reservoir per the GM TSB.

Thanks for the tip! I searched the tranny forums and found some posts by steve-d who was offering remote bleeder kits. I've emailed him, hopefully he's still offering the service.

I think steve-d is who we got ours from. His bleeders are LS1 specific. The one on Summit, if it fits, when you figure in shipping, is like $52. Way too much. I don't remember what my friend and I paid but if it was more than $30 or so, I would have said forget it. It is a good mod because before all I had was problems bleeding the line. Good luck.

$80+ is INSANE. I just went out to my shop and looked at mine. There is a fitting that goes into the throw out bearing, about 18" of hydraulic line and a fitting to bleed the line. That's it!!! If steve-d, is who me and my friend bought the extenders from, then he is now getting super greedy. That price is total BS. He should be banned by a moderator if that's the case.
