LS2 Heads???
I am currently building an iron 408 for my TA with a desent size cam(ms4, trex) and was wondering if LS2/LS6 heads would dissapoint me on power and torque. I am aiming for about 480ish rwhp and good power under the curve but i do not know if these heads would prevent that. All help appreciated

not to jack the thread but, damn $1200? is it a store or an auction?
i would immagine that that set up will get you at least close to your peak power goal, but you will certainly have great power and torque down low.

A properly ported LS6 head on a 408 with a Fast should be guaranteed 500+ RWHP through a stick.
480 RHWP through a LS6 intake is possible, we just had a set of our LS6 heads make 480 RWHP on a stock shortblock 5.7 through a locked A4...so you goals should be easy, but like was mentioned above, it's not cheap, about $1300 with you supplying the castings.
