Helmet recomendations
I need to buy a helmet for the car.
I will be attending the April 10 class at PR and I plan on having the Trans Am on the track at least once this year. That means I need a helmet that can pass tech, and since I have not purchased a brain bucket since I bought my motorcycle helmet in the mid to late '80s I need to have some pointers on a new perchase.
I like the idea of a full face helmet but when I was riding my motorcycle I found it to fog up VERY easily and got too warm in the summer months. So I am open to open-face if it is acceptible.
Is $300 realistic or should I start planning for more?
Thanks for the help!

300 is a decent amount for a quality helmet. Ensure it is SNELL rated and you are more than likely getting high quality and may keep your brain mostly intact should you need it.

Sounds good to me too, Mark.
I would like to atleast try it on and see if it will fit my fat mellon. Where and when are you going to be available? I am off today (Thursday) and Sunday.
