i have gotten a total of 16 tickets. The only thing i have been convicted of is disturbing the peace and i paid 100 bucks for it. All the rest... dismissed.

cool thanks. does anyone know the law about when you can take defensive driving or deffered? like is over 80mph out of the question? trying to get all this together to talk to the judge. thanks.

You can take defensive driving as long as you weren't going more than 25 over.
For instance- If you got clocked at 65 in a 40, can't take the course. 60 in a 40, you can.

update:
so i was quoted $200 bucks to get a lawyer. court fees/fines would be extra. so i just went with deferred adjudication for $215. thanks to all who replied.
now to get a radar detector...
