Header install?
Ok i am thinking about installing longtube headers without pulling my engine and it seems that i just have to pull the spark plugs, the power steering computer harness, the coil going to the heads, and maybe the alternator. I however didn't get a good look at the bottom so i don't know what else i have to pull but does that seem right for the most part?

I think that they come with instructions, and I am certain that you dont have to do all that. Either use a lift or get it up in the air as high as you can to install them. Certain cars need help to get them in and other dont. Typically it is the drivers side that does not go in easy. Usually the hardest part is getting the old stuff off. Just set aside a Saturday or Sunday, get a friend to come over, get some beer, and go to town.

I just had to pull my coil packs and plugs along with the rest of the exhaust and emissions attachments. Some people have to remove the starter, but i didnt. I think you only have to remove the alternator on corvettes.

I used a lift too. It took me and my uncle about 4 hours and a case of bud. Just a couple words of advice, dont use paper gaskets, dont buy a pacesetter y, buy tsp duals, and once you get the headers on and everything buttoned up START IT, it will give you some motivation to finish the exhaust.
