Default Detail: 06 cobalt ss

I washed my moms car today, and I wish I had before pics(coverd in salt) but I do have afters. What off the shelf products can i use to make this stand out more?

I used mcguires soap, and turtle waz ice spray, I used a wheel cleaner but have no idea what it was called. and I also used some tireshine.

I wish it was a little better out side for taking pics

Looks good! You could always use mothers clay bar kit, that should make that black look sweeter!

Nah, GM would throw an SS badge on an Aveo and call it cool.

Nah, my mom needed a car fast and we had to choose between the ss and the LTz(i think thats what it was) and while the LTz was about 3 grand cheaper, we got this because of the different wheels and the bigger four cylnder verses the middle one and my mom wanted something sportier looking since she has been getting into cars, I wish it was suppercharged.

I would suggest trying Meguiars Smooth clay kit or at the very least some Paint cleaner and then go for the wax of your choice. You will notice a difference after claybaring if it's needed.

ok heres the deal. there are 2 versions of ss cobalts. a normal cobalt is a 2.2 a ss nonsupercharged is a 2.4 the non-SC cobalts can be a 4 door or 2 door and does not come with the wing only the 18's. the SS supercharged can only be a 2 door and comes with the wing, however it gets the smallest motor with the 2.0 i like these little cars and would love to have one as beater. i test drove one and considered it until i got my Z. i like them and they can easily make some good power but i knew i would always miss a Camaro. there is a 1100 hp cobalt SS with twin turbo set up. with the GM stage 3 kit and exhaust its possible to see 300 hp out of these little cars.
