Default HELP! I broke something by my intake manifold...

I broke something that belongs towards the rear of the driver's side cylinder head, and I'm just wondering how important it is...

The plastic nipple that was on the plastic thing (indicated by the arrow in the 2nd and 3rd pictures) broke off and is stuck inside the 90° rubber fitting (first picture). The line & nipple that are still attached run to a connection next to the MAP sensor.

My car isn't throwing any codes because there's no engine in it, but I don't want to find out that there'll be problems next week when I put it (my engine) back in.

Thanks guys

That entire thing is for the AIR system. You can rip all of that out and just plug up any empty vacuum lines afterwards. Its just an emissions device.

Excellent! I'll just rip it out then. You think screws and teflon sealant, (maybe JB Weld-it) will suffice in plugging the holes?
