Need A Quick Answer!! Egr Question

alright, don't want to sound dumb but don't want to do anything stupid as well. I removed the whole egr unit, bolted the block off plate. and pluged the top with the plug from speed inc. now my question is..... what to do with the wires.... the wire was going all the way down to what it looked like the compressor? I unhooked that sensor from the bottom and tucked the whole long wire under my fuel rail cover. is this right? I am also going to cover the sensors with electrical tape.

I guess my main question is... was i suppose to unhook the sensor that looks to be connected near the compressor?

leave them alone, just make sure there is no exposed metal that can ground out. Mine have been sitting there for a few years.

so should i leave that sensor at the bottom still connected? its the long one that goes down..

No the long one that goes down plugs into the AC compressor. take the EGR plug and cut the plug off of the wires and tuck the wires into the conduit.

ok just so i understand... cut the sensor that plug into the egr unit off and tuck into the harness... and leave the long one thats plugged into the a/c compressor alone.

yeah, you dont have to cut the EGR plug off if you dont want to though, i did so it would look cleaner.
