Default diagnostic connector
i have a 2000 z28 LS1 and today my "service engine soon" light appeared, im thinking it may be the cheap gas i put in it (no choice) 87% octane from caseys i always put 92 % but anyway my question is can i do the paper clip trick in the diagnostic connector to find out the problem, i dont wanna blow anything up..... help!!!!

Nope. Thinking 93? was the last year you could do the paper clip flash thing. Bring it by some place like Auto Zone, they'll read codes for free.
