MAF - vertical or horizontal ??

MAF - vertical or horizontal ?? does it matter what position the MAF sensor/housing is in? can the wires be vertical or horizontal and still work correctly?
I'm thinking that if I rotate the housing so that the plastic center divider in the housing is horizontal, there will be less restriction since the air flow will go over and under it, instead of if it's vertical and the air flow is hitting against one side of that divider.
any thoughts?

If you have it screened it probably doesn't care.
If you have one with no flow straightener, and an intake
tract that is curved close to the MAF then you may see
some airflow bias effects and rotating the MAF might find
you an orientation that is less sensitive to that.

yeah, it's stock/screened... I just put it back to it's original orientation - or close enough... LOL
