Default Re-sealing the PCM connectors

I know that a lot of people remove the un-used wires in their harness when they do the conversion, but what is everyone doing to seal up the connector where the wire used to pass through?

I left all the wires in my PCM connectors so it wasn`t an issue for me, but I was curious what everyone else was doing, leaving a couple inches of wire in the connector? Filling the empty spots with silicone/epoxy? Buying new connectors or rubber seals?

I've always gone to the local lumber yard and bought clear silicone sealant in the tubes for sealing tubs then cut the end off real small and then filled the hole lightly.
