Pinion seal problems
Ok i got new gears and when we put it all back together with the all new kit. My pinion seal rolled and broke and leaked like a sev. So we put a new one in and made sure it didnt roll and it still leaked. My friend and me are baffled any reasons why it would roll or would my gears getting warm cause it. i mean we took our time both times and lubbed it and we are lost on what to do.

Pinion wobble (like not crushed down tight enough,
or a driveline imbalance or angle problem) will kick
the seal around and it can't totally keep up with the
shaft (always behind) so you get some weepage.
Is this a leak just sitting, or a leak only when spun
for a while (driving)? Clean it real good with paper
towels, white glove style, and see if you get a weep
overnight or not until after the next drive. That'll say
if it's a seal/shaft problem, or a wobble / setup one.
