i was looking into the sts turbo kit for my lt1. Im looking to make between 475 and 550 hp will that do it for me?

don't be a dick to the new guy. maybe he doesn't know about the search. notice the post count is 1....... to answer your question yes a sts with around 8# of boost and a good tune should meet your goals

Well, 97trans, what state is your LT1 engine in? STS advertises (or used to) 400 rwhp at about that much boost for an LT1. For an LS1, probably so. However, if the engine already has mods, such as a cam and LTs, you are probably in the ballpark.
