INTERCOOLER Help
I really dont like it in the front of the car with the front license plate cover and fog lights missing....is there a way to mount it horizontal?
Does anyone else have any different set up than the one where you have to cut up your bumper and frame?
I was thinking maybe getting something like the procharger setup , but I have heard they arent very good....and they max out at a pretty low number is this true?
Thanks for any help!!
Oh and if you happen to have pics PLEASE post them up!!
To further what ping king was talkin about,
AIR to WATER Intercooler.
An air to water intercooler is a sealed intercooler that relies on coolant, water....to cool the in coming air(boost) charge by passing water around the core of the intercooler.
Can be fabbed up to fit almost any open space under the hood or other open space on the car. You'll also need a pump, heat exchanger for the fluid and other odds and ends.
thanks W2W for the attached pic
Some argue that they aren't very street worthy, while some run em on the street with no big issues.
Pretty practical for the guy who doesn't want to mount a FMIC on his camaro or 'bird.
But they do add weight to the car because of the supporting hardware needed to run one.

Look at both our street and race system, both don't require cutting of anything. The i/c for the street system will support 500ish rwhp and the air to water on the race kit over 1000rwhp. The street kit intercooler has better flow and pressure drop number than most of the Taiwan stuff you see on the forums.
