Default 6.0 fox body

ok im new here and was pointed in this direction.

first of all i have heard alot of ls1 swaps in fox bodies before but never a 6.0.
there are companies that sale the k memeber for foxes to alow you to bolt in a ls1 realy easy.

but im just wondering with people that have done the ls1 swaps how hard is it. my main concern is HEADERS and clearence problems.

well thanks for your help anything will be great!

soon to be a 6.0 autoed fox rolling around.

not to hijack.......but i WISH my motor sat back that far, if i had manual brakes that is. i don't know how you'd change the rear d/s plug if you had to if you had a booster. i can make a fist and fit it behind the heads & firewall on mine it sits so far forward. oh well, maybe it'll help keep the wheelies under control after the mods are done.

Last year i still had power brks and my pass. side head rubbed the firewall. No problems! This year i did go to manual brks and also modded firewall and trans tunnel to push it even farther back.

I did make my plate. it cost just as much as stenod performance making one but since i do fab work on the side i figured i would make it one of a kind. I ran the 6010 msd crap last year and it gave me nothing but problems so i am goin the dist. route. I will get some more pics up when i get home. Still working on the car tring to get to the races. Hoping for 5.70's Give me about 30 mins and i will get some pics up

what crank were you running with your 402?
buddy just did a 408 and it wouldnt run.
crank wheel was not installed within extreme tolerences.
callies re installed the wheel to tighter tolerances, and it ran on 3 cylinders.
with a ecm, you can crank relearn and its a piece of cake, fire right up.
not the case with the msd, too primative.
may have been your problem.
its on hold now, but he has gone with a dist as well.
should make 720-750hp.

your stang looks sweet.
gonna be a NICE piece when its together.
firewall and inner fenders look good.
