Default 72 Buick? LS1?

Hi guys, Great site. I have a 72 Buick Skylark. I have searched this forum and have come up with some good info. But I haven't seen much on Buicks. I understand A-Bodies are pretty much the same. So here's what I want to do. Carbed LS1 5.3 or 6.0 dropped into my car and mated to th350 trans.

1. My main concerns are the location of the motor so the trans will not have to be moved and it will bolt right up.

2. Which flywheel will have to be used.

3. Correct motor mount for this application.

4. Oil pan clearence.

5. Alternator,power steering.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Look farther down in the "conversions & hybreds" section and there is a thread that has all the info you need. Also check the Stickys at the top of same. The following website will really help you out, especially with the motor mounts, which I really like. JB http://www.bmrfabrication.com/
