Default bilstien's with stock springs ??

are the bilstiens one of the best shocks I can go with to replace my stockers ? I dont want to lower my car I just want something better than stock.

Yes---but I remember reading here that bilstein changed the valving in the newer hd's.
Anyone know for sure? I have the older hd's, #'s1913-1914 i believe, and they are great with my 70k mile oem LT1 springs. Stands at stock height still. Nice, economical setup, in my eyes. I also have 32/19 gm swaybars w/poly links. It was like night and day coming from my stock decarbon shocks. Everybody who owns an fbody should replace those ASAP. Wish I would have sooner. Good luck.

Bilstien HD's are a good option. I've had them for a few months and think they were a good value. There are better shocks like Koni SA's or revalved Bilstien's it really depends on how much you want to spend.

According to Sam the bilsteins are valved better for these cars than the cheaper KYB's and AGX's, etc...
