bilstien's with stock springs ?? are the bilstiens one of the best shocks I can go with to replace my stockers ? I dont want to lower my car I just want something better than stock.

Yes---but I remember reading here that bilstein changed the valving in the newer hd's.
Anyone know for sure? I have the older hd's, #'s1913-1914 i believe, and they are great with my 70k mile oem LT1 springs. Stands at stock height still. Nice, economical setup, in my eyes. I also have 32/19 gm swaybars w/poly links. It was like night and day coming from my stock decarbon shocks. Everybody who owns an fbody should replace those ASAP. Wish I would have sooner. Good luck.

Bilstien HD's are a good option. I've had them for a few months and think they were a good value. There are better shocks like Koni SA's or revalved Bilstien's it really depends on how much you want to spend.
