Default with a 233/239 cam or TSPv3 torquer?

and a set of heads that will run on 91 octane, how many have you achieved the 450 RWHP goal?

I have a 2002 Z28, M6 with an Aluminum flywheel, LS7 clutch, and 25% underdrive pulley. LTs, ORY, and LM1 as well as SLP lid, K&N.

I will be getting True duals soon, instead of the ORY and LM1.
I will be putting on Black Zr1 rims or Black Z06 rims
I just rebuilt my T-56
I am installing a Ford 9" in 2-3 weeks with a Truetrac and 3.73 gears. I know that this will eat some of my horsepower. I also have a full list of suspensions mods, I will soon be getting a Torque arm as well as a PST 1200 Hp rated Aluminum driveshaft.

With what cam and set of heads can I achieve around 450 RWHP?

I want to leave the 3.73s and its a daily driver, So I want something that will have enough torque at lower RPMs and that will run on the pump gas I am putting now. I was thinking the TSP torquer V3 or the TSP 233/239 will help me get those numbers? as well as LS6 heads perhaps and a good tune.

Thanks.

Also I will be porting my T/B soon and maybe get a new MAF. I have the LS6 intake manifold already.

come to think of it, maybe I want a tad more than 450 RWP...

and all N/A please.

The texas speed magic stick 3, seems like it will get me there easily, but I dont think with my gears it will be appropriate.

I also will road race this car as well as take it to the dragstrip.

I got 406 out of the T3. That was with a stock pulley and ls6 intake. We left if there be cause I needed better injectors and plugs to go any futher.

My previous combo-
23K mile '99 shortblock: Katech rod bolts, ported LS6 oil pump, LS2 tchain
milled AFR 205's (62cc) with GM MLS gaskets (10.7:1 compression approx)
TSP 233/239 .600/.603" 112LSA cam, stock LS1 rockers/lifters, upgraded pushrods
LS6 intake, ported TB, UD pulley, no a/c or p/s
1 7/8" long tube headers, Magnaflow 3" cats/Xpipe/muffs
alum Fidanza flywheel, RAM 910 clutch/VDS, alum Dshaft, 3:90 gears RX-7 IRS
18x10.5 CCW's with 285/30/18 MichPSCups on the dyno

I made 440rwhp/385rwtq on 91 octane with 7100rpm redline with cats on. The only thing different I would've done is use the Cometic head gaskets to get my compression over 11:1 which is still 91 octane friendly as the big cam bleeds off cylinder pressure and makes it still possible.

Big cams want big compression or you will be losing unnecessary torque.
My dyno chart showed the HP being just about flat from 6K-7100rpm... meaning the intake was the limiting factor at that point.

My car was a daily driver with 20K miles on it in 1 year and road raced about 3-4 track days and probably 15 1/4 mile passes.

IMO the power is in the heads. Don't cheap out.

I was thinking of going with the head/ca, package from Texas speed. what do you mean dont cheap out? is their product not quality?
The LS1 has a stock c/r or 10.1:1 If Im not mistaken. with a stock bottom end, what heads will I need to run 11.0:1-11.3:1 compression ratio and is it safe to run higher compression without the valve getting in the way of the piston?

also to the guy running IRS, with 10.7:1 compression ratio and IRS you made that much power... It should be 450 RWHP with a solid axle. what dyno did you guys run on?

on what dynamometer was this reading on?

If it only made 406 WHP, even with higher a compression ratio and all supporting mods, I dont think it will still get me 450 WHP
