Question LT4 knock module part number

Easy question anyone know the part number or were i can go to get an LT4 knock module??? Thanks

anyone ever get a difference out of this? when u say KM u mean the knock sensor that screws into the block?

Knock Module = small square shaped module that goes into the PCM itself up on the passenger side of the engine bay up near the firewall. Knock Sensor = round sensor that you screw into the bottom area of the block on the passenger side.

Reads what the knock sensor puts out. The LT4 one is better at reading false knocks, which will change the timing, causing SOME performance loss.

Speed Density don't have them And for that, I'm a sad panda.

Most commonly, pistons slapping the valves (pre-ig/ping).

I only clarified you Sara, since I'm sure he'd ask about what you said

i ordered mine and it's at home. I'm expecting to feel "some" difference. i heard it's hit or miss but for $25 i'll try it

Isnt this backwards? I thought the LT4 was the less sensitive of the modules.

detonation is not the pistons slapping the valves. if your pistons are touching the valves in ANY way you have a much more major problem than what a predetonation sensor can fix.

detonation is simply caused by timing and the fuel you have.
