Default changing pushrods? Got a couple ?'s...

A: Is it really difficult...i've never actually messed w/springs/etc. on a car so this would be my first time actually opening a head up to change something.

B: the car has 90K miles, would it be worth it to replace my lifters when I replace my pushrods? Is it much more work?

C: I plan on going w/the TR224/227 N20 cam here soon so I only want to buy pushrods once, can someone make a suggestion as to which one's?

TIA <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

It's really easy. Remove the valve covers, and the rockers arms then pull the pushrods out. When you re-install the rockers make sure to use thread sealer on the bolts and TQ to 22lbft I believe. The srpings stay on.

To change the lifters you would need to pull the heads.

You should be fine with a stock length TR pushrod.

What he said.

Since you are in houston, just get a houston f-body guy to come show you the first time how to do it. Its super easy and will take no more than 2 hours to check them all from start to finish. After that, you can tear into it yourself in the future.
