Default Roof Bubbling TSB

Well im not sure this is the right forum but anyways I was wondering if anyone has a link to the roof bubbling TSB for the 2002 Camaros, not the threads on it but the actual TSB that I can print out. I have searched with no luck. I have read that it is covered for 6 years after the original purchase date and well mine is an '02 so date is coming up quick and I would like to get it fixed. and I think it would be helpful if I went in to the Dealership with the TSB in hand when i try to go get it fixed...

thanks,
Chris

Thumbs up

I found it for you, in the Paint section. 2nd or 3rd post has the link you need.

I had my bubbles taken care of because of the TSB. They replaced the entire roof and it came out beautiful!

Meh, I have some of this bubbling but I honestly do not feel it severe enough to have someone hacking on my car and trying to match paint. Weigh that in your decision.

It may or may not be covered by the 6 year corrosion warranty. (most likely not) Most dealers opt not to cover it. If your not the original owner than forget it.

Did you just make that up? I know several people who have got theres taken care of, after the 6 years, not the original owners, and plenty of miles on the car.

No I didn't make it up. I've been thru it myself and read this entire thread and the other on LS1.com. Never heard of anyone getting it fixed out of warranty that wasn't original owner. Maybe they are out there but they didn't participate in this thread. You know of several high milaege, out of warranty F Body owners that got this fixed for free by dealers that they didn't purchase the car from new?

There are a few that have had it done that were not the original owner and near/out of the warranty, but they are few and far between. I myself had to pay $381 to have it done after haggling with GM/dealership/regional service manager bitch for 4-6 months. Prepair your information and go in swinging, if one dealership blows you off, go to another and try again.
