Pissed off at my o2 sensors - solution?
Hey guys - I've got an MS3 cam only car running Pacesetter race style coated longtubes. The car has a GREAT tune on it from Alvin @ PCMForLess. I'm running the Corvette O2s and I couldn't be happier with it's performance - but I'm going broke buying 13111s for this thing!!
I've got about 6000 miles on this setup and I'm on my third set of o2s. The car will run fine with them for a little while, then throw the dreaded SES Light... just like clockwork!
Any ideas?

I know this is more of a bandaid than a fix, but have you tried to clean them instead of replacing them each time? If you use some electronic parts cleaner and a blow torch you can bring them back sometimes. Also, make sure you aren't using anything leaded for gas.

Hey Joey, Let me look over the car when I see you at autofair Also try to find out the exact code so we can figure out if its something we can fix. I didn't know you where having a issue.

I just had a new motor put in with a Trex.
Got it tuned.
Threw the codes for o2s. They were on their last legs anyway (108xxx miles)
Swapped them out for the Vette o2s and drove it a few times, and it threw an SES light.
Took it to my tuner, ran the code, said it was pass side o2 going out. We drove it around however, and it was reading spot on with the driver side o2. He said it'll just throw the codes sometime for no apparent reason.
Got rid of the code, and all seems to be good.

I'll be following this thread... I just got my MS4 install completed and now all the sudden I'm throwing;
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0155 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1).
I was getting ready to get new O2s until I saw this thread. Although in my case would it seem correct that I may very well have bad O2s since it's the heater circuit?
BTW, sorry for the hijack.
